Physicist

This position will conduct research and develop laser optics, remote sensing phenomena and optical subassembly. Will develop theories on the basis of observation, simulation and experiments, and develop customer specific sensor prototypes and testing environments. Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of optical physics and engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments that affect future organizational objectives.

This position will be responsible for helping to manage the overall procurement cycle supporting company and program needs:

  • Material acquisition for multiple programs. Must have the ability to work with programs and numerous functional areas generating material requirements and providing the necessary support of acquisition plans from start to finish.
  • Coordination of purchasing requirements supporting research and development activities, development programs, production programs, spares efforts, repair programs, and various functional engineering and support groups.

Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)

Ophir Corporation is seeking an experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in Littleton, CO. The successful candidate will validate requirements and execute the information assurance and cybersecurity programs in support of ongoing DoD contracts. The ISSM is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining system accreditation through government accrediting agencies, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. The successful candidate will coordinate cybersecurity requirements for existing and new systems with DOD and USAF security offices, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other agencies to ensure mission accomplishment and the protection of sensitive information.
